And can be an excellent addition to your digestive health recipe repertoire; it makes a delicious and convenient breakfast, and can be free of the top gut-disruptors (dairy, gluten, grains, refined sugar).
For this blueberry smoothie bowl I used the following ingredients:
Base (blended together):
120ml of soya milk
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon maca powder
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon powder
⅛ teaspoon turmeric powder
Ground black pepper
Toppings:
Blackberries
Raspberries
Walnuts
Activated buckwheat
Bee pollen
Fresh mint leaves
Health highlights: fibre, essential amino acids (complete protein), omega 3; vitamin C; magnesium, potassium and calcium; anti-inflammatory; antioxidants.
